We’ve had reports of several attempted burglaries locally. These attempts are a reminder to stay alert and take steps to protect your home and property.

Here’s what you can do to help keep your home secure:
✅ Lock doors and windows – even when you’re at home or just popping out.
✅ Leave a light on or use timer switches if you’re out after dark.
✅ Keep valuables out of sight from windows and doors.
✅ Install visible security measures like alarms, CCTV, or smart doorbell cameras.
✅ Check sheds and garages – these are often targeted for tools and bikes.
✅ Report anything suspicious immediately – call 101 for non-emergencies or 999 if a crime is in progress.
